The only people I have seen on the net is Gaston and roaring toyz that mod 2 of them before being released. But the ones that are crying that there not available are the guys over @ zx-14.org

I appreciate the review from someone who actually rode the bike. I really like my Busa and wouldn't trade it for anything, but, honestly, it's nice to see there's something else in the same class. With some competition, the Busa can ONLY get better.

I rode with everything from a ZX-12 to MV's, Aprilla,Ducati 999 your run of the mill Yamaha and Kawasaki and Honda 600's this weekend.
They all performed great.
No casualties, No break downs.
And each and every person loved there bike most for the reasons that they chose it.
I certainly did not purchase my Busa's for the sole reason the it was the King of Speed.
I bought because the bike is plain and simply the absolute best motorcycle for me.
A lot of people don't either deserve or can't handle a Busa.
Until I sit, ride, and evaluate a ZX-14 for myself, I can't make a educated opinion.
GSferrari rode one for a 1000 miles or so and liked it.
It's a new bike, let's see how it's doing after 15000 miles without any maintaince required but Tires, oil changes, chain adjustments and cleaning.
It could be the newest best mouse trap, I for one certainly don't know that yet.
But thank Kawasaki for making Suzuki get up off there behinds and do something about improving our beloved Busa's after 7 years and taking us to the top again.

Nice review, but I still think it's UGLY and the ZX 12 really looks alot better. Infact if it wasn't for the rear tires (not lasting long at all no matter how you rode the bike) and the absolutely miserable gas mileage, I would have looked at it when I  bought my Busa. But with all that, for me it was a NO BRAINER

I don't care about the potential new busa or the ZX14...I love my 03 just the way she is. If I happen to want faster then theres always that little turbo option. No matter what the 07 ends up being. A busa is a busa and nothing can take away from that.

You know what is really disturbing...I know this is a Hayabusa forum...I wouldnt be here if I didnt like the bike. But It is IMPOSSIBLE to have a proper "enthusiast" conversation about an inanimate object without a dozen fanboys coming in with inane comments.

Some of you are actually comparing "vaporware" 2007 Hayabusa with something that you can go and ride today?!

If you all need "reassurance" that your BUSA is the best then I guess you are not "enthusiasts" anymore. Only consumers have this feeling of insecurity. Are we all consumers now? Where have the enthusiasts gone?

So what if you own a Hayabusa - If you love bikes...it shouldnt matter who makes what. Anybody who is here out of enthusiasm for bikes and good machinery - check out the kwak. We all know how good the busa is...the kwak has potential to be pretty special too.

Why?...because some may not agree with your assesment of the 14?...no one is knocking you personelly but when someone disagrees you drag out the "Fanboy" comment. I mean geez, I don't think anybody has been out of line with the negative...your write up was good info.

but there is also alot of other imput from members on the 14 around here...I have had plenty of kawis but I just am doubtfull that kawi can make it work in this class...

to each there own but to the busa is the bike. speed is not everything. i need to look at my bike everytime i get on it an the zx14 has a face only a mother could love. just my opinion but the front of the kwak can't compare to this.

the other bike is a 1978 cb750f in real nice shape little clearcoat bubbling on the tank. other than that not bad. (just a little slower that the busa).

Good review.....nothing against kawi...I've owned 2 in my lifetime....(KZ1000, Ninja 900R) but, I think I'll be sticking with my busa!
