I have been MIA

I think I would feel the same if I got news like you have in the last few weeks. Very glad you were able to see your Aunt. Any time you need us just let us know. Have truck will travel. (((hugs))) to you and Mary and continued prayers for your sister and Dad. Hopefully this is the end of the bad news and you will be getting some good news soon.

Our prayers are with you and your family. If you are in KC on 7/17, CrashTestDanny and I will be rolling through KC at some point on our way home from Colorado. It would be good to see you and Mary again.

I hope your sister is going to be ok. I am very sorry to hear about your aunt. If there is any thing you need please let me no.

Well some good news finally. The hospital released my dad, and my sister. My sister Renae took dad to a care facility in Milton, Florida. He is depressed that he can't go home again, but it is a nice place and I hope he will accept the change. My niece lives there and can check on him often, so that seemed like the best option. My sister Ellyn was also released and is on her way back to Philly. Now all I have to do is get down to Georgia and figure out what to do with all dads stuff. He has 12 collector cars, farm equipment, all his household belongings and three buildings full of so much stuff the guys from American pickers would freak out if they went in them. My aunts funeral was this morning, but there was no way I could make it down, and that makes me real sad. Thanks again for all the pm's and supportive posts. I don't know what I would have done without your support. Love you guys, Hal

glad to hear that your dad and sister seem to be on the road back to good health...it is going to be a big change for him but hopefully it will all go smoothly

Thanks Brian. Next time we get together, I have some stories my dad told me about WWII I would love to share with you. Hope you had a good time on vacation.

no problem Hal, would love to hear those stories anytime, man sorry to hear about your aunt also, you need anything just give me a shout.

Very sorry to hear this. Hang tough, like your dad did.

My heart goes out to you and yours.

Thanks wag. He seems to be adjusting to the nursing home OK. He sure deserves some TLC for the life that he has remaining. He did tell me he was having meals with four gals almost every day. :whistle. My ambition is to be 90 years old and be shot by a jealous husband.

You up for a ride down with me to see him in the fall? We could visit your family, and stop by to say hi to Jules and Dawn and her hubby.

Hal, I completely missed this! I'm so sorry. If there's anything we can do, please let us know.

That's actually pretty funny. At least he's looking at some nice scenery!

Give him my regards, and a hug or a fist bump or something. Let him know that we're thinking about him.
