I think the '05 red is to "tomato-ish" in color. The darker cranberry of the '06 is much sleeker. So since you were choosing between the '05s, you definitely made the right choice in my opinion!
Now... I have the same dilemma for the '06. I'm torn between the LE and cranberry. Wife wants cranberry and I'm sittin on the fence. They have a new LE on the floor so I'm gonna go check 'em out side by side this week.....
No matter what it's a busa.... You'll love it even if it were lime green and orange spotted (well.. maybe not as much )

I can't speak for my Busa brothers out there, but I haven't yet stepped up to wearing lipstickPlus you can buy lipstick to match your bike, LOL...

I wasn't planning on a Busa and was actually looking at some liter bikes. Then I saw the Red/Black Busa and had to have it.
This is my favorite Busa color scheme by far. My other favorite is the 04' blue/grey. None of the others stand out for me but I still like all the Busas.
