$20 via PayPal to the first person that can tell me where these things go. They're rubber bushings or grommets. I'm thinking they go somewhere around the air box or gas tank. Can't remember where they came from. Thanks in advance and good luck.

those are the pieces to hold the fairings in place.Those are stuck in the metal holes - The push rods(if thats the right word...)-go in these rubber holes!

The top push rod on the side fairings to be exact.

Those are the ones in the ram air duct lower for the fairing male tabs on left / right side.
There is a tab off the air duct for them.

Great, we're on to something. I have all four of my lower fairings grommets in place. So where else on the bike do these things exist? Upper fairing maybe?

That is right for the ram air tubes , and on the frame above the clutch and on the frame above the sprocket cover , last 2 grommets that the lower section of fairing mates up to . Best idea is to Vaseline them for easier slide in of bodywork plug .
I know it has already been answered , by c10 at least , and others , but just backing them up !!

I buy those in sets of 4 at a time, because my original ones are starting to break down. Wherever the fairing has a “pin”, one of those grommets needs to be in the frame hole or any bracket, so it’ll hold the fairing.
