There is a long drawn out explanation of why, basically the short version is Cancer. Mom and my Sister died last year, 2 months apart. My Mother in Law is fighting it now. My works forces me to leave Monday morning, get home Friday night. I did that for 53 months. No mo.

I have given up week long trips on the road for work forever, going to be working closer to home.

So, if anyone is looking for any custom fabricating, here is the list of equipment I have and can run, confidently.
Mig, tig, plasma, 10' break, lathe, I have to install the software to run the CNC mill, and I have yet to finish wiring the turret punch.
If anyone knows CNC, specifically Bobcad and can lend a hand, that would be greatly appreciated.

Again, if anyone has any projects they would like made, maybe I can help.

I am hoping to try to make some camera mounts that are also mirror spacers, some slider/foot pegs, sliders, and whatecer anyone can think of.

I need some practise here fellahs, and there are a bunch of guys that I owe a whole lot more to.

sorry to hear about the family. Sounds like you made the right choice and I hope everything, both business & family, works out for the better...
 
Good luck in whatever your heart leads you too man and if you make some parts we better see them here first i could use a set of mirror spacers
 
I'm glad you are going to make those mirror spacer/camera mounts. I have been wanting to make some myself for a while but don't have the machinery to do it. I know a bunch of us came up with a lot of ideas for you to make and I hope you can turn it into a lucrative business that can put food on the table for the family.

Actually, I have had an offer with an Oilfield Company, doing sales that would keep me home a lot more, instead of 16 nights in a hotel per month, max is 10, and they say generally 3-5. I am seriously thinking of going into oil.

I got me some mad skillz!

As for the lucrative business making parts, not possible. I would think a few guys might like the camera mounts, but there is no money in them, so they will likely be gratis. The fab money is in sled decks, fuel tanks, etc. Big stuff that is hard to ship.
