That goes for all you suicidal puffers.... nicotine thickens the blood... it causes strokes/ heart attacks/ etc. Not to mention Lung Cancer... which is not pretty... ask my mom.

My Dad just told me last night as he picked up a pack of cigarettes that this is his last pack. He's quitting...he's said this before, but now it's more because $5 a pack is just too damn much and he's sick of being taxed to death for a bad habit...
I hope cold turkey works for him because he's smoked my entire life and I have always wished he could stop; I know it's not easy but I'm keeping my fingers crossed

My mom used this thing called Auriculotherapy to quit smoking... 2 months before she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
My dad used the same thing to stop smoking Lucky Strike NON FILTERS after 40+ years... but then when my mom was diagnosed.. the stress was too much .. SO HE STARTED SMOKING AGAIN

If he is quitting cold turkey, i would avoid him for a few weeks..withdrawl does get ugly!

My parents did that to us, didn't take. Just thought, sweet, free beer and smokes.
Chantix is good! i quit for over 4 months using it...mom died and I wentback to smoking...need to try that stuff again...I miss the DREAMS!!!
