InfiniteReality's Gen3 Build

Could reuse your factory license plate light to illuminate the inside of the box. Throw it on a momentary switch so it only comes on when you remove the seat cowl

I really thought about adding lights, I mean my name spelled backwards is LED, lol. But decided to not over complicate things, I don't think it'd be used much in my case.

8 days after scanning my exhaust I'm holding a 4-5mm thick forged carbon exhaust shield in my hands. I gave it a 50/50 shot on coming out usable, was a lot more difficult to do with the sides and try to keep thickness the same.

That's the easy part though, sanding tomorrow.

Learned a mold lesson the hard way today. Bonding 2 halves together will leave a potentially permanent mold line. In hindsight I'm guessing the compression basically V'd chopped carbon so it goes down a couple mm. Part is thicker than intended so have the meat, but not confident it'll come out.

Isn't it fun when you notice the small things that no one but you would ever see so you need to fix it? Lol

Your crappy still looks impressive to us. :p

Decided bike riding is done until after fully healed from surgery end of the year. Overdue for the color change so I have something different to stare at for 6 months.

Excited to finally get to see my original "vision" of the bike before I got sidetracked with Shocker Yellow. Will be bronze, shade will be something close to the satin GM Pepperdust I sprayed all the trim. Unsure if they'll be satin or gloss.

Painting bodywork at all, or just wheels/trim?

Hi i use to have a front stand like yours and i sold it many years ago ive been looking trying to purchase it again and i dont find it do you know a place i can buy one of those? Thanks

I can't recall the brand, but if I saw it I'd recognize it. I bought it and matching rear for the SV650 20yrs ago, seemed everyone on the SV forum was using them. While I had to upgrade the rear stand for the arm, this one always works. :)
