InfiniteReality's Gen3 Build

Took everyone's advice, just tossed on the new touring tire. 'll finally get my color change to the color scheme I intended to build before getting sidetracked, will be trying my damnest to finish it off by winter.

Finally got more chopped carbon so this weekend I'll get to forge the heel guards. No more skinned ones. Lighter? Probably not, I made them ~ stock thickeness.

Looks like a scary front paddock stand:eek:

Been riding, but will install this weekend. I'll cut out Suzuki in satin black and see how it looks.

Realized today that my SMX6's toe sliders were replaceable....more practice making forged carbon isn't a bad thing.

Finally ditched the gold bezels. Always planned to paint in body color, but did this on a whim. I'd like to redo in white and do the larger ones to match..... but this was some tedious work, but thanks to @Spudley for letting me use a little of his high quality vinyl roll.

Working on a new 3D project for the bike, something most owners would appreciate.

Been scanning stuff lately, finally proficient with physically doing it and aligning all the scans to output a useable mesh I can draw off of.

Been wanting to do something else in forged carbon. While the Ti weld looks nice, it has always bugged me it's at a slight angle so making an exhaust shield to fit profile and go up the can some as well.

I rediscovered an old scan of the sprocket cover, I think I had wanted to just print and skin at the time. Since I can now make forged parts, another one to the list.

Decent size part, won't fit on my bad unless vertical. I've discovered 3d gloop that melts the plastic to bond, so printed in 3 pieces to glue for test fit in half the print time.
