Thanks! Kinda pointless in the grand scheme of things, but I thoroughly enjoy them (minus anything I have to sand)Man your attention to detail is incredible.

You are definitely well motivated to make that bike your own and it shows...You're not wrong sir, most only see the motorcycle side on here. Thanks for the encouragement!
Hit up MM about reflashing my tune to make it less twitchy at low speeds and read couple others feel similar. Got an easy answer, haven't tried yet.

I ride a lot like that when it’s heavy traffic or cruising in groups by the beach/between car shows or when my wife is in the back. It’s a nice change in feelHit up MM about reflashing my tune to make it less twitchy at low speeds and read couple others feel similar. Got an easy answer, haven't tried yet.

The manual says that mode A is for sporty/performance riding and mode B is for general riding. I think it just limits throttle opening speed below like 6000rpm and then the curves are the same aboveSo less hp at lower rpms, vs a better tune...and That is his answer?
Not impressed.

Yes, but you mean to tell me that the throttle response can't be changed from switch-like to smooth in A mode?
I'm not buying that, at all.
I assumed this was just the easy way, if I wanted Mode A to operate similar I'd assume he'd be willing. I did tell him I expect to pay for a reflash, but if I'm content with just switching modes I'll rock that.
Idk, I’m sure it could but isn’t this exactly the point of the electronic suites that are put on these bikes in the first place? I don’t mind having one that is no compromise performance/aggression and being able to on the fly switch to a map designed to cruise and still makes the same power once the bike is rolling. I used the power modes before the flash even so I may be a little biased. I wish I could do something like this in my Z06 even beyond just turning the boost knob up or down.Yes, but you mean to tell me that the throttle response can't be changed from switch-like to smooth in A mode?

I wouldn't like that "choppy" throttle either regardless of what mode I was running in......kind of sad that only a tune will correct this but not surprising either. No, I want full power, throughout the full rev range from off idle and up, A mode, all the time.
If the flash makes the off idle power switch like on the gen3, as is noticeable on the MM flash and dyno tune on the last gen gsxr1k, then it should be improved, as it can be.
Again, the market is too geared towards racing to focus on that.
