Installed new engine sprocket

Well, I installed a 16T sprocket and was put everything back together.  After putting all the fairings back on, I found out I didn't have any clutch feel.

After taking everything apart and retracing every step, I was out of ideas.  For some reason, I had to bleed the clutch line even thought I never touched it to get it to disengage the clutch. Also, does everyone else's chain rub against the rubber chain guard. I never saw this until today and from the marks, it looks like it has been going on for a while.

Is this right?  Is there anything else I need to do?  The clutch disengagement is still a little weak in my opinion.

are you sure that you got the clutch push rod back in to the center of the rubber cup that lines the CSS piston?
You also need to make sure that the case face meet flush with the sprocket cover where it's supposed to. Even being 1/8th off can result in major loss of clutch actuation.
Did you loosen the two bolts holding the CSS in place?

As for the guard...yes, that is why it's there....the chain bounces of that when decelerating. On the bottom, it's there for when there is too much slack. A properly adjusted chain will touch the top on minimally.

That is what the rubber guard is there for. It's to keep the chain from damaging your swingarm.

I made sure I put the push rod back in place and the cover was flush. Of course this was in the evening but I will check everything again.

I never touched any of the bolts except the four on the cover over the sprocket.
