Hi guys, I am new to the boards but have been reading them for a couple hours now. You guys sure are gearheads! Great reading. I am 43 and the best rates I have found are with Progressive for 1400 yearly with 500 deductable. No tickets, accidents or dui's. Any suggestions?

did you try state farm and allstate.Heck I would try everyone in the book and not just one agent I have found 200.00 a year differences same Co. different agents.
PS it helps to know where you are

USAA full coverage in Texas---823.00 a year.
Progressive was about 1275.00
Dairyland was 1475.00
USAA is one of those who charge by displacement and purchase cost for example my 2000 HD Fat Boy is 260.00 full coverage from Dairyland and USAA wanted 1400.00 does that make sense?

Thanks guys, great ideas. Johnnycheese, Im in Kentucky, close to Frankfort. GREAT riding area. Busa Dave I will try them all tommorow. Any Bussa owners in Kentucky on the boards here?

I am currently having kind of a tough go with Progressive. If you want to know how a phone quote of $94 a year can turn into $647 a week, go to the "Insurance" portion of this board. God bless.

My insurance company (the one I have my 3 cars and house under) would not touch the Busa. My agent said it was on THE LIST. He checked around and through another company could get me full coverage for $1500/yr. Nope, too much how about PIP instead. That would be $82/yr, yeap much better I'll take that.

I only pray that I don't lay it down, or have someone hit me.

Moved all my cars, house, and bikes to State Farm because my old company (Farmers) wouldn't even insure the Busa. State Farm = $320/yr...full coverage. Married, 35. State Farm blew everyone else out of the water. All they wanted was the engine size and VIN. I asked them if they wanted to know what type/style it was...Nope. :)
