Insurance shock

1800/yr full coverage with Rider, I guess it's a good price concidering I'm in Jersey City.

I'm 32 no ticket, married and owner

THANKS guys,

well that gives me hope some hope. I m in California so probably that has some to do with it. I just checked i\with a co-worker of mine on his gixer. He's paying $80/month . So I hope to get the same rate.

Check into USAA. They usually provide rates for military, but some states allow them to sell to the general public.

Good luck.
Since when?

USAA only provides insurance/banking etc...to military/family or an extension of it. The average joe off the street can't call and get insurance no matter which state they live in.

HEY I TOOK the advice,

called another state farm agent . Well, its $473.99/ 6 months now .
that first agent must have been on crack.

700. a yr.. full coverage 500. decuctable .. AAA been with them 15 yrs .. no accidents no tickets for 20 yrs.. .. ( ...Welcome to the " Hyperbike Zone " !!!... ) ..go fig.

i use state farm with 100/300/100 have everything with them pay 350.00 a year with 250 deductible

I'm paying 600 per year. 28 years old with 3 points on my license, but I've had my motorcycle license for two years and I've had a SV650 as my first insured motorcycle.

That sounds completely crazy.  I do know that the first year I owned was really high (nowhere near $3500) and it dropped to about 1/3 of that after the first year.  My agent told me that one of the reasons the Busas are so high is that the computer shows that there is an 80% chance of a claim in the first 3 weeks of ownership!
My agent laughed when I told him I was gonna get a Busa. He said you could not have picked a bike that was more expensive to insure. The "King" in insurance also.

I am 37, live in Florida near Orlando, and pay $567.00 for the year, with a $500 deductible and uninsured motorist coverage. If I elected not to have uninsured motorist coverage, my rate would be $267.00. The company is licensed in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio and New York. Give them a call for a quote. Their phone number is 888-533-8304. Email Yourinsured@aol.com www.Petersonins.com I hope this helps anyone looking for reasonable coverage.
