Interest in a traveling cookie jar?

I noticed the recipient of the cookie jar after me, GA boi, has posted he is taking a break from the .org

If Dr. E approves should the next in line, Timmyduck, send me his info and I mail the package to him? Nothing was ever planned on members bowing out, for whatever reason......

Haha! Me too! I noticed ibified has dropped off the list too. That's too bad. Someone needs to p.m. Datsun350Z to be added in place of ibified......Remeber previous recipients can request the package again too!

The Cookie Jar is meant for active members as this is a project to provide a Cookie Cook Book which has the soul and spirit of the Org. If any member wants to drop out, their name will come off of the list and the next member in line will now receive the Cookie Jar. If the member who drops their name off the list decides to come back at a later time, they just have to get in line for the cookies (no place holders...sorry).

So Timmyduck is the next to receive the Cookie Jar so Timmyduck needs to send Poppy his address and the Cookie Trail continues on.

You know, it is not surprising little bumps in the road will happen. People lives change, they move or just have a change of heart. I wish GA-boi the best.

I'm just amazed at how long it's taking. I figured peeps would be on top of this one. I mean how long does it really take to make cookies and go to the post office? LOL.

Joking. I know we all have REAL lives outside of the cookie thread. I am getting impatient though....and that's no joke.

I realize that everyone on the list is excited about the cookies (as I have been too.) We received the cookies sometime last week (my days are off) and it was very shortly after on Sunday afternoon that I was admitted to the hospital. I was not released until Thursday Evening and even though it is Saturday, I am still feeling awful and not "up and around". Don't worry, no contagious infectious diseases here; unless you count pregnancy and kidney stones. This is my actual 1st post on the org since I got home.

I will get the cookies made and sent as soon as I can. If need be, I can go to one of our local bakeries and put cookies in the container but send my recipe of what I wanted to make.


I have also not heard back from flippnswitchez, so the cookies may go to the next person on the list. I will confirm with Dr. E.

I'll look for the King Arthur brand but I don't recall seeing it here. It has to be awesome since it's "Naturally Pure and Wholesome".
