Interest in a traveling cookie jar?

I have not been on the org in awhile, but wanted to check in. I owe you PM flippnswitchez.

I am now worried if the cookies are not there yet. I sent them in a flat rate box, so I do not have a way to track. They were mailed from a post office in Austin, TX.

I will make it a point to check back in (and PM flippnswitchez).

Hey Jay, it didnt have anything to do with Mrs. R2B. Its the ones that the day I said I was gonna step away said "HEY HE MOVED, HE LOST HIS SPOT RIGHT????" Thats who the message was to. It didnt have anything to do with the person with the cookie box. It still had to go to what 5, 6 more people before me? If I had been the next in line I could understand being passed over but not with two months of waiting in front of me. Guess its just some of the polidics of the cliques...

No offense here, my brother. I've re-read my post and I'll have to confess it probably reflects a little 'taking up for my brother...er, sister...well, whoever' in it. My apologies as this semester in school is kicking my boo-tay and I think I had been rubbed a little raw that day; just a little too much pointing what I don't know and not enough appreciation for what I do (well, at least what I think I do)...

Not a problem Jay. No apologies needed but thanks for it anyway. I feel ya on the classes. Its my last semester and I have 8 classes for 24 credits. I also have my ROTC commissioning at the end of the semester. I know how it feels to be pulled in a bunch of different directions. Its made my skin thick!!

LOL! I guess I'm still workin' on the thick skinned part I'm trying to push 22 hours myself with Chem, Net Adin MCSE Cert, CIS, A+ Cert, and VB Programming. I'm not crying but 'jeez, at my age it's quite a change!

I just wanted to check back in and see if flippnswitchez received the cookies. I got them out a couple of days later I wanted to, but between being in and out of a perinatologist specialist for the pregnancy, as well as my OB, and my dad falling ill in Houston, life got CRAZY. My dad contracted a life threatening infection and they are having problems getting it "cured". I had to make a mad dash down to Houston over the weekend to help him and my mother out; they are both 65. He had a picc line inserted and was in the hospital a week, and it is not responding.
I think someone asked about if I know boy/girl. Not yet, hoping to find out soon. Due at the end of August.
Again, I sincerely apologize about life happening while making other plans.
Hopefully it is just the Mid-Atlantic snow slowing delivery.

On another topic; everytime I try to send a PM, it never seems to get delivered. Not ignoring you flippnswitches. Please PM me if you can get a message out and to me.

Well guys, I am not getting any warm fuzzys that the cookie jar has survived the USPS to its latest destination. I had really believed that it was going to survive, but...

I hope that the few homes the cookies touched brought some sense of happiness. I truly enjoyed the pictures and stories that were shared. If by some odd miracle that the jar shows up we can pick this back up, however, I simply want to say thank you. We tried really hard.

jason the cookies are mailed. Hopefully they are arrive at a perfect time for you as mine did for me. Even tho we all feared they were MIA they couldnt have arrived at a better moment as i was going threw some struggles and hadnt had a smile in days. After returning from Va home to NC there was my package on the front porch filled with wonderful treats and giving me a great smile knowing my fellow orgsters had me in mine.
