iPhone 4

I've been running iOS 4 on my 3Gs for some time. The new features are handy. Multitasking will be nice; developers just need to tweak their apps to take advantage of it.

Jailbreak'em boys! I have multitasking, teathering and even a background! OH MY! lol Much nicer. I can listen to slacker radio while I text, read emails and such.

Yep - agreed, it is much nicer. However, I don't feel like having to tether mine every time I have to reboot...

I too have been running iOS4 on my 3GS and it is pretty slick.

Things I'm especially looking forward to on iPhone 4:
- 5 MP cam shooting HD video in 720p at 30fpm
- Video chat "FaceTime"
- A4 chip + Bigger Battery = 40% increase in battery life
- Retina IPS Display (960 x 640 @ 326ppi) Meaning best phone screen ever!
- New design looks very sleek with Aluminosilicate glass on front and back!

.

Hi Jerred,
Wish you were in country to ride this Weekend!
My wife is really liking her iphoon < J/K, but all the girls want one too!

I understand what you're saying - but I can't afford to not be able to use my phone. I've had to reboot many times while away from my computer.

I'd love to jailbreak mine...but I'll have to live with with it the way it is.

Up-graded to the iPhone 3GS about a month and a half ago...

For the interm it does what I need a smart phone to do so until the next up-grade, not gonna get all excited over the newest flavour.

... Gotta admit that some of those features are pretty snazy though!

I've upgraded on the release date for every iPhone version. I sell my old one on craigslist and always break even... Even made a small profit once... But I also take really good care of my electronics... I'm reselling my iphones in perfect condition...

I am a smartphone junky, and a PC 100%. Apple computers can't run the programs I use daily without wierd work arounds (Solidworks). I have owned the HTC phones, nice but they just don't stack up to my iPhone. It's not just the phone itself either, it's the support it get in the market. Once the droid stuff gets half the support I might think about switching back.

iPhone 4 will be in my stable ASAP.

I hear you... I used to be all PC, but now I'm 100% Apple... All the programs I need are on Mac... Everything from Unity to Maya to CS5... Mostly just the SDK now...

So basically it's like my Nexus One? Ah. Good for Apple. They've almost caught back up... for now... almost...

So the people waiting on 4G will be waiting quite a while. Sprint is currently the only major phone provider and here is their coverage map:

The black dots are 4G not city markers

It will be years before 4G has coverage like 3G so I just don't see what the big deal is with all this 4G stuff being mentioned. :dunno:

It needs to be cleared up that this is not a 4G iPhone, just a iPhone 4 that will have the ability to run 4G in the future. The apple website isnt even calling it a 4G iPhone, just iPhone 4....and we iPhoners have more cool apps :moon:
