Thank you!Sorry to hear that, my condolences.
Thank yousorry about your father that sucks,,my apologies..
as for your chain issue the problem is the extensions,,I have ran into that before due to improper fit into the slots on the factory arm.The extention isn't going in far enough into the slot. Couple options,,remove the back wheel, then take a straight edge,,like a nice big steel ruler and hold it to the inside of the left side extension. If there is a gap between ruler and the stock swingarm and the gap gets bigger the further you go our on the ruler then you know for sure.
You can space the wheel over to the right using big azz washers or use a dremel to open the slot and make the extension go into the slot further. Easiest is the washer thing.
The extensions look straight, any other input?
dude you can look at the pic and see they are not straight, tell me this,if you loosen the axle nut all the way up you probably have a large gap between the arm and wheel spacers????.
Did this and all teeth/sprocket look goodIMO, the chain is trashed.
At one time, it must have jumped the front sprocket or something similar, and hurt the chain.
Pull the front sprocket cover as well and look at the sprocket for missing teeth.
There is a gap but not a very large onedude you can look at the pic and see they are not straight, tell me this,if you loosen the axle nut all the way up you probably have a large gap between the arm and wheel spacers????.
There is a gap but not a very large one
I checked the rear sprocket and axle and both are straight. :headache:
has to be chain or extensions I guess... but the extensions where even with swingarm and
the adjustment notches lined up evenly on both side,
There is a gap but not a very large one
you might have to take the chain off and lay it on the floor an inspect every link.....
are you sure that your axle spacers are on the correct sides
Bump..Does anyone have a pic or something to show the correct placement of spacers and how it's supposed to look?
Thanks to all for the help and input so far.
You need to measure the rear axle on both sides to the Swingarm pivot center to center. Do not use the marks, they are probably off. Usually happens on weld up extensions like this.
