Less than 5k miles on a single clutch WOW! You must use the Busa for cruising purposes only? I have a little over 2k miles and I'm going on my 4th clutch...God I would love to get 5k out of a single clutch...

All thick fibers, or '83 to '85 Kaw GPZ 750 plates. GPZ also has thicker steel plates. Adjust stack height accordingly. You may run 1 or 2 less fibers, and various combos of "thck" or "thin" steels to get combo. Stiffer springs an option. MCT lockup clutch, for high hp. applications.

I have a stock clutch with over 50 1/4 mile runs.My average 60' time is 1.61.I have the BDE clutch mod but I havent installed it yet.

I have 5000 miles on the stock clutch and its still working fine.
When you blow the stock clutch can you see it coming, like clutch slipping or dragging ?

There are several options for your clutch.

I spoke with Tony Lang at Prostar over the weekend and I'm going to see if there is a possibility of hime maybe giving members of the Org a break on the price.

I'm suppose to call him sometime tomorrow.

Also, I'm going to be following up some options with Andrew at MRE.

We'll soon see....

I have the Carpenter clutch mod. With less than 5000 miles and a blown clutch it's hard to believe the stock clutch plates and fibers are the best. GSXRboy had bad results with Barnett, are there any other opinions? I have the Carpenter clutch mod.
