I have a 2000 with north of 75K on it 99.9% of that is cross country touring...A solid bike. IS there a market or subset of people who want unrestricted Busa's

There is a market out there for the Hayabusa but it is a slow tough sell as insurance premiums are the killer.

If your bike is in excellent, stock or tasteful mods it would be desirable even though the mileage seems high, it isn't for one of these...

The unrestricted really has nothing to do with it, and the 99/00 as well as the 2001's ecus cannot be flashed, so they need some parts upgraded to the 02-07 models to make them easier to tune(PC3's aren't really around anymore).
However, that doesn't hurt their value either.
Location is a bigger deal, as that bike may go for $3k to $5500 roughly, depending on where you are.
You can post it in the for sale section here, or post pictures and location in this thread, and get opinions on a sale price.

My personal insurance is not bad ($650 year for full coverage)...but I've heard others where their premiums are outlandish......

In for the pics. Mine is an 07 but similar mileage. I’d take $5000 for it but no one is offering so I keep adding upgrades like a dumbass. Probably going to be stuck with it.

People have a thing about mileage, regardless if the bike is 20 years old, they still want to see 30kmiles or less. And u still see them for sale with 10-30k miles , so it’s not unrealistic to say your perceived high mileage is going to be the issue.
