Hi Brian

Just something to throw into the factor also...think about insurance before you make a purchase.

Any sportbike can cost a fortune in insurance to a young fellow~!~

Not that it would be this bad in your case, but I have seen it well over 10 grand a year...just might want to check on it so you'll know before hand and be prepared~!~

:welcome: Like others have said, you can get killed on a 600 just like the 1300 it all depends on your mind and right wrist. If you respect the machine and feel comfortable with the weight then no problem. This was my first streetbike and I'm glad it was. I've only had one problem since I started riding a couple of years ago and it wouldn't have made any difference if I was on a 10 speed or the busa, you can't control the ones around you. So ATGATT and enjoy.

:welcome:

Get some insurance quotes first...you're gonns be surprised!!!

I am in Westminster, when you get a bike we will have to ride to the local mountains.

I usually make several trips to Crestline / Lake Gregory, in fact I am supposed to be there today, but I have to work all day.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Anyway, keep us up to date and ride safe out there.

:welcome:There are a lot of riders who do not belong on motorcycles. They are
accidents waiting to happen.
For the average rider, best get a smaller bike, take courses, time in the saddle,
before going to a Busa.
But if your intelligent, cautious and talented you can do it on a Busa, 1st shot.
But then don't many think they're intelligent and talented 'till they find out the hard way?
Not advisin, Just say'in
Good luck, I think you've got it.:beerchug:

BTW, I left LA in 1977, used to ride my Vincent around downtown. Don't think
I would try that now!
