Just Katie went down

hard charging women right there and i wish her the best on a successful recovery. i'm shocked to hear that much damage to her body with such a low rate of speed. clearly, i have no experience with the "Track" and planning my first session in september @ loudon,nh. by the way, love those Triples.

High sides suck. Hers sounds worst case for that speed. glad she is tough. I am recovering from a lowside, most of the rash is gone but I have some nerve damage in my upper thigh from blunt force. $6k in damage on the bike which is almost back together. It makes you wonder if its worth it. It is.

ETA: First time down on a busa. It sucked to see it sliding down the road.

Sorry to hear about your wife. I hope she heals up as good as new.

Sometimes slow crashes are more bone crunching than high speed crashes. We had two women transported at the track yesterday. One was very slow and the other was high speed. Both resulted in injuries. Both were single bike crashes. It's a dangerous game we play and no one is immune to injury.
