Just realised the kanji symbol gets clipped on the left side of the bike and makes the bike assymetric.....if you hadn't noticed, now you'll see and then you can never unsee it.
I noticed it but it never bothered me until the guys here made a fuss and started obsessing over it. That's when it finally registered in my mind and it changed my life.Just realised the kanji symbol gets clipped on the left side of the bike and makes the bike assymetric.....if you hadn't noticed, now you'll see and then you can never unsee it.
Now that you post those pictures, I wanna remind everyone how the matte silver is the only Gen 3 color that due to the lack of the glossy clearcoat reflections, it allows light to showcase its lines perfectly.
I've read because it's Japanese cursive writing and much like our own, there is an angle when you write it...Why does it follow the body lines on the right and is near vertical on the left?
That's why I did this. It is a problem and almost all marketing photos of the bike are from the right side, so Suzuki has been wrestling with the issue also!

I wanted to make the Kanji more of an implication than literal. But I can appreciate your pointA painted screen to fill in the middle would make that absolute perfection.
Apologies to you, but I had to express what was on my mind.
Love it! Made them yourself? What's the material?I dipped my Gen2 8 times, every single time I put a kanji back on it would bug me for a few days thinking about it being clipped on one side. Never understood, but always would forget about it.
Noticed it on my Gen3 the day after I bought it when I was going around the bike tracing the OEM decals. I originally planned to just remove them, but after almost 20yrs of riding a busa, no kanji kinda bugged me so split the difference (kinda).
