Keep DocDrop in your thoughts today

Update.. he's home... and asleep right now. His throat hurts the most from the intibation (sp?). He starts physical therapy on Thursday at 9AM ... and we'll see how much pain he is in when he wakes up after this pain pill wears off.... he chose not to have the "block" thing that is supposed to help with pain.... i wonder if he is going to regret that....

Thanks everybody!!!
yea the breathing tube was my scourge too... better have something ready for him.. the "spinal block" is not going to make any difference after about 8 hours (think that is about how long my lasted).. but keep him on top of his pain meds.. keep it from starting and you do not have to try and squash it.. My shoulder did fine till about day 4 (I over did it, so do not let him)...

Glad it went well :) now get him healed up so we can party!! :)

best wishes.

Hey Jules...sorry I'm late chiming in, but please give Darrell my best and tell him I hope PT goes well and that he heals fast!! :)

The breathing tube is always the worst...ughhh...hooch might help sooth the pain :p

Tell him I said to hurry up and get better, he has a date with a bunch of folks from the internet on Valentines Day:laugh:

Glad surgery went well. If ya need us for anything just call, I can be there in an hour or so!

Hey peeps, Thank you all for the prayers and best wishes. As Jules stated we are home and doing pretty good considering. Yeah i have to agree the breathing tube aftermath sucks but it is going away pretty quickly. I'm so ready to get this sling off (i wish),having one arm tied up sucks. Since i have some time on my hands i guess i can get out in the shop to figure out a left hand throttle on the DR . Well guys/gals once again thank you,we will keep yall posted on my progress as the days/weeks go by.
