Knight Design Pegs for 3rd Gens

I've been using the ones off of eBay for about $50 for all 3 gens I owned. Lowered pegs about I think 1-1/2 inch or so. It made a giant diff. There are several from 40mm to 1.5 inch. I weigh 250lbs and have always stood up on them and never have a problem. Been using these for a long time, good stuff and cheap.

I have two sets of those if Elena and I are going to be on a long run I install those because it makes the passenger leg drop to a point where it's very comfortable. The pin design is reliable, the castings are very strong, and I drilled out the 6 mm peg screw for an 8 mm x 1.25 instead just as a bit of beef and strength.

I was going to ask (or search later): what are the options for lowering the passenger pegs? I'm fine with legroom, but any passenger would have to hike those knees up! Wasn't sure if lowered front pegs would fit or drop correctly for the rear pegs.

That kit drops right in and it gives you unlimited adjustability for your passenger. Just remove the stainless plate and the ball bearing and slide the other one in.

Rear pegs will be difficult with factory exhaust as the peg is right above the mufflers themselves...........................probably getting some foam or something to make them sit an inch higher would be easier.

If you swing the passenger peg 45° forward it sits within a centimeter or two of the top of the stock exhaust heatshield.

If you install, aftermarket mufflers, slip-ons, you get much more room to work with.
