Shucked a valve through the number three cylinder....

Guys, I'm going big bore because of the engine damage recently sustained. If I had it my way I'd of left everything alone.... But, since she blew up I have no choice. Turbo is not an option since that would tack another $4k on the total price.........

That's what I thought when you described what happened...I've had the same thing happen to me (but not on a busa)

Is the crank and connecting rods intact? Did the valve beat the head up quite badly and score the cylinder wall?

Just fix it and get it done up a bit while you're rebuilding it. You might as well do her up some while you have the chance and it's all tore apart.
