Go to China Shack and purchase:

This gun. Have used it for 15 years or better. 30 watt is all you will need.

Forget those big gun solder guns with the light in the end.

dont be crackin on my 1000/1500 Weller gun buddy....

I do also have a 15/30 solder station (I think $25 from RS)


My problem was picking correct solder alloy... I bought a strobe light kit from Radio shack (when I was in grade school) and got a great roll of acid core solder to go with it.... oooops
