Let's get a list going of full exhaust weights

I'm interested in the weights of all the full exhausts people have put on. Please list your exhaust weight, single or dual. I assume someone has weighed the exhaust they bought for all the systems out there. I realize I could go to the websites and possibly get some info there, but I would rather take the info straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.

I'll try to keep up with this thread and make a list at the bottom of this one, if any moderators see I've missed some, please add to the list. Thanks!

I'm talking about Gen II exhausts only. If I could figure out how to edit my post, dummy, I would change to reflect this. Help?

Didn't install full exhaust,but here are the weights of Ti-Force 380mm slip-ons...3.5lbs.
each..stock can's are 33lbs for both(26lb weight saving total)

I'm not sure where I heard this, and if I'm wrong please correct me, but the Brock's Alien Head Full System Exhaust weighs in at 9 pounds, while the stock full system weighs in at 58 pounds. I'm no mathematician, but that's a lot of weight savings

Again, please correct me if I'm wrong.

i got the r77 full carbon. saved a lot of weight. a guy on a stock 08 sat on mine and about pooped himself when he felt the weight difference:laugh:

Yosh TRS Titanium full single weighs 16 lbs. Weighs the same as one stock muffler or stock headers to the back of the catalitic converter is also the same.

YUP, Brocks Full system W/ Alien head is a mier 9lbs, And the stock system is more like 34lbs.....not 58lbs.

Heh...bringing up an old post of mine, but I think the 34lbs is the weight savings and the stock exhaust actually does weight 58lbs. Can someone confirm what the actually weight of the stock 2008-2009 Busa is?

Thanks,

I just did this very thing this past weekend...

Using a bathroom scale, I weighed the factory exhaust system when I took it off the bike. The full header with 2-catalytic converters AND two mufflers weighed 43LBS!!!! You didn't miss read that guys/gals, that's FORTY THREE pounds for a factory OEM exhaust...

The Brock's system with full header and everything weighed right at 8LBS!!! For those that aren't good with math, that's a weight savings of 35LBS. coming OFF the bike. There aren't many other things that will drop that kind of weight on a bike. Not only does this weight savings help in straight line performance but also makes a BIG difference in the cornering department.

So I'm left wondering, do they mean the system is a 4-2? or is it a typo and its supposed to be 4-2-1

I'd been looking around trying to find a 4-2 system and had been unsucessful so far, since I assumed two sites i found that said they carried 4-2 systems were typos.
Does anyone have any information/dyno tests on 4-2 dual can full systems?
