Let's get a list going of full exhaust weights

My shortmeg from Brocks comes in at 8 lbs.

The front section (from the engine to the Muffler) is constructed of an aerospace quality ultra-light stainless steel. The SHORTMEG package comes with a Race Megaphone with REMOVABLE billet Aluminum baffle. The total system weight is just over 8lbs.

Same here. I did this mod mainly for the weight savings of 35 lbs - amazing.

I just installed the Akrapovic Racing 4/2/1 (carbon) on my K8, and I weighed the full stock system piece by piece. The bottom line was... Full Stock system weighed in at 47 lbs. and my new system weighed in at 12 lbs. The net difference was 35 lbs. that was removed from the K8. BTW, I used a very accurate digital scale...

Micron Slip Ons GP x 2 = 13.8lbs

total weight lost = 17.81lbs

The weight savings, improved ride, sound, and looks are great. But has anyone else noticed that with a full system(like The R-77)and no more convertors that your feet are no longer on fire, especially the right. Stupid Euro emissions.
