I'm considering what the next round of mods is going to be during the winter time. I'm thinking about some new levers, finally putting the SS brake lines on and some other odds and ends. I'd like to see pics of your mods, especially if you have done something custom or that you havent seen posted up here.

I've seen some cool things around, lets all share with each other so we have some things to do this winter

and back em' up with Gilles chain adjusters and lifts. Great look, and weight savings.

OK... I see the great look...but how is there a weight savings?

those sets are lighter that my two alum. block adjusters and spoolies added together?
and um...even if these were Ti adjuster/lift pieces....how is a gram or two of savings going to make a difference after that dbl 1/4 w/cheese sets in?

It's not that much weight saving. You must look at the big picture Daniel san. If Zuk gets wheels or considers lightening the bike futher down the line he has a start.

The rearsets I would say are a must due to a lowered ride height. I scraped and mine wasn't lowered with the old sets', The adjusters allow for easier and far more precise adjustment of the rear wheel. The total weight savings is about 3lbs. Every bit counts IMO. The Busa is no 1k in the weight dept, why not try to shed some weight off and look cool at the same time.

i like the chain adjuster/bike stand combo! what brand are they and where can i pick em up. also, what brand are your adjustable rearsets? i have the same set on my bike, but they were put on by the previous owner

My rearsets are adjusted to the lowest and most forward position (least change from stock) The are 24mm back from stock and 35mm higher. Other than that they have a more positive feel (less misshifts) and look great. I also scrapped a little over than 2 lbs. Oh, and they look killer.

They are costly but the plus side is I always sell my stock pieces, gaining back some of the funds for the mod.

Got these levers from Brian at www.alteredchrome.com Love them.
How's comfort on the levers?

Long ride comfort?

Any complaints?

Seems like they would provide great "traction" for your hand but on a long ride the straight edge (flat top/bottom) looks like it might dig in a bit. They look great though!
The first day I tried them they were very uncomfortable but after riding a couple of days with them the feel got much better, and know I find them very comfortable.
