It’s on its 4th turbo set up now as I just like to test different combos. But more importantly I just love fabricating.
Currently a stock bottom end 4.8 LS iron block, TH400 trans with brake, Holley Dominator, 2200cc injectors, E85- but full flex fuel, currently a T6 billet 80/96mm turbo, tube front half, mini tubbed rear, 10 point cage, AC and heat.
It’s 96mm exhaust side, so no, definitely less then that. It’s also a T6 twin scroll.
It’s only a 80mm front so maybe 1100 If I lean on it -and I will. Gotta remember too it’s a 200k mile cam only 289 cubic inch junk yard motor. I don’t mind pushing it again as long as I don’t have to get aggressive with timing. I’ve made 1100Whp with this engine and the big twin turbos I had on it.
Here’s the other two set ups. It’s gone from “oh I’m just building a nice little street car” to a street driven race car.
The first set of twins were billet 78/75’s. Made 1100hp without a struggle, but was boring on the street. Then went to 66/65’s.... never even drove it with them, then now the billet 80mm.
