Wow these are some darn good times on stock bikes in here, leaves me hope.. (after a heck of a lot of test hits)
I'm 250lbs and was hoping to go 10.20's before I put an arm on it, looks like I might need to raise the bar for myself?
A mate over here in Australia weighs about 290-300lb and he ran a best of 10.16 @ 138mph on his stock length gen1 which was slammed with a pipe
16/40 gearing.I thought that was pretty good.
Wow!
I got my new tires today, and oil filters. Gunna change the oil and do the clutch mod this weekend, should have it lowered by next week also.. Hoping to get to the track sometime within the next two weeks.
just fired up stage 2 stock length bike last night, this ones about 20hp/10ft/lbs
stronger than the one im currently on.I look forward to seeing this new bike
acheive its full potential, sounds the real deal too,lol
You think 42 tooth rear is too much for SWB?
What kind of clutch do you have in it now? Stock springs or heavy duty?
Everyone around my parts think's you need to be up 2 in the rear, and I have one on the bike now but I think it's going to make it a wheelie machine..
Work these sums out for you and your
Bike.peak torque(ft/lbs) x 2.615 x gearing (eg 2.47)
/total weight(kg)= ( 2 to 2.1).at stock length
Thatll give you something thats rideable
In first gear and launch pretty well into
The 1.5,s with practice.
