lowering=poor handling?

(Shanling @ Mar. 22 2007,07:11) I am not messing with mine. The way I see it, those engineers put it at this height for a reason. And since I am the kind of guy that prefers the twisties, I don't want to do anything that would have a negative impact on handling. Of course, I also have no idea what impact lowering could cause but that is my reasoning for never messing with it.
agree totally, if anything raise the rear minimal or lowerer the front minimal for better turn in. im talkin 1/8 to 1/4 inch at a time.

You could always get a custom rear shock made that will lower the bike and keep the same handling characteristics as if it were stock height. I plan on doing the penske shock in the rear custom made and valved to 1.5" down and my weight. More pricey than links, but hey, it's only money right???

well i lowered my busa in front w/ spencercycle.com black anodized tripple tree and diamond powersports lowering links in the rear. 2inches front and rear. it looks awsome and feels great. to me there is NO negitive effects only positive!

next question:
what product will help me raise the handel bars up with the new tripple tree i have? i dont want the resivors to hit the windscreen.
