I will be running 18 40. I have to buy a gen 1 rear wheel to get a smaller sprocket. Right now the smallest sprocket I have found for gen 2 rear wheel is a 40. Plus iam going to up my rev limiter. 18 40 and the limit bumped up will give me plenty of room into the 200 range.
I didn't think I would need a 19 tooth. From what gearing commander says 18 40 should get me 215 mph at 10600 rpms. Which I think will be enough gearing for me on motor.
Personally I run as large a front sprocket as I can get away with
that way I only have to worry about the rear at the track. way less to un and re safety wire track side
I think I had a 20-44 when I went 203 naked
20-38 when I went 220 in fifth
