Lube Rear Chain with WD-40

Frisbee.. dont worry about it, you only need to lube it like once every 500 miles, so you have another 9 months to go..

I used WD-40 for a long time with no problems other than it doesnt seem to last very long (100 miles or so). I just started using ATF (auto trans. fluid) and I'm diggin it so far. Chain stays clean as with WD-40 and it lasts way longer and runs much quieter. Time will tell.

Doesn't wd-40 eat the o-rings? I work at a paint factory and we use wd-40 by the 55 gallon drum to clean paint off of stuff. I wouldn't use it on my chain.

That’s what I have always been told as well although I have never seen proof one way or the other.

I use JP solvent to clean then spray with Ultima Chain Wax,
super.gif
then wipe off excess, lube stays on chain doesn't sling off, I apply every 250 mi.
