Been looking at the m109r,havent rode one yet.Was wondering what people think of them.
Would like to have one as a second bike but really couldnt justify having two.

The busa just isnt very comfortable for me anymore, keep trying different seats.

Ive never owned a cruiser in my riding life and the 9 was the one that caught my eye.

Its made by Suzuki so

I love it. Go sit on one. If you were in my area I would let you ride it after signing a contract and a Fee

! see you updated your signature pic  Try a gel pad see it that helps I have the stock seat on mine an can go all day on it.

M109r is my next purchase for sure. I love that the look of that thing. I have sat on many but have yet to actually ride one. I can stretch my legs out pretty dang good a 5' 8".

My brother has one and he loves it, My cruzr is a vtx1300, as for the busa, drag strip only and trailor it to the track. That busa makes my back hurt, knees hurt, hands, hurts my wrist, and makes my neck hurt from the wieght of a full face leaning forward. sport bikes suck on the street

M109 - Best V-Twin motor in the business. It rocks if you like the feet forward
position. Beware the cruiser clone versions...much heavier, thing is a boat
and the inertia and weight swallow the power of the motor (suzuki blew it
imho).

Star Line - Stratoliner, Roadliner, Raider...same motor, air cooled absolutely
stellar, huge, unbelievable torque. Very close to the 109 motor. Raider is smoking
(faster, must be a weight issue) but again feet foreward. The reason the
m109 motor gets the nod is that the 109 has gxxr technology in it and revs
much higher. The Star Motor has boatload of torque low though and it's
slightly bigger. Road/Stratoliner is like a couch, very very comfy.

Victory is a very close third motorwise IMHO (love the hammer). All their motors are
much stronger than a Hardley.

Kawasaki's new vulcan line looks nice and is very reasonable prices but the
motor is on par with a Hardley...you twist your wrist and start to yawn.

Also on par were the Honda clones, quality bikes but not a lot of go.

Course if Money weren't an issue, and you wanted a cruiser style...

V-MAX

Closest thing I've riden to have "Busa Pull a Stump out the Ground" torque.

That bike is SICK!

M109 sure looks nice.
But for me, if I got a cruiser, it'd have to be a touring type ride. And unfortunatly, they don't make a touring version of the 109.

C109RT

Yes they do (sort of) but like I say it's a boat and tips the scales 883lbs
and that's without a hard fairing or hard bags etc,...883 lbs + rider(s)
swallows the 109 motor.

WHY oh WHY ON EARTH did Suzuki feel the need to make a GINORMOUS cruiser.
If they would have made one with the proportions of a fat-Boy with the 109
motor...SMOKIN'. That's why I say they blew it imho. The sheer size made
this bike average.

Dry weight on a fat-boy btw....694 lbs - 189 lb difference.

Have had a 109 for about 4 months now. Awsome. Make the move you wont regret it but keep the busa for sure.

I was torn between the M109R and the VTX1800R. I chose the VTX. I chose poorly and traded it in less than 2 years for my Busa. I love my Busa, but man, I'd kill for an M109R.

Love the M109 but glad to have the busa still need to feel the ground
with my knee the m109 is my first cruiser

I love the fat tire on the 109.

I do like the looks of the Raider also.If any one wants to post up pics ,please do so .
