Made in China- Wave Rotors

I would like to see a post from all the pseudo patriots that have posted about China's politics that have not one Chineese product in their hoome or car. Who's first?
I generally avoid it, at least when I can tell where a product is from. It's practically impossible to tell where all the internal components / ingredients of a product come from anymore. We all have stuff from China in our houses and garages whether we like it or not.
How the heck did this conversation transform from intense use motorcycle parts(rotors) to...."I'm a pseudo patriot because I have Chinese made things in my house". Call me anything, except don't call me a "pseudo patriot". First, it's not keeping with the spirit of the org and second, some of us are combat veterans that are very sensitive to the use of the word "patriot" in a negative context. Raydog USMC 2/9 1967-69

Hey Bob,
These are machined in CA. by MVP Rotors. The rear is $105 outright($85.00 exchange), Fronts are $400.00($300.00 exchange). I've had no troubles at all, weight is less than half on rear and a third less on the front. He has a regular listing on ebay,if he's not backed up, ships within 2-3 days
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats what I'm talking about.

Does he have an E-Bay store or do you have any contact info.

Don't look at me, I don't get the pseudo-patriot comment either. I don't think I'm a "patriot" for avoiding goods from countries whose policies I don't agree with, it's simply a personal preference.

What was this thread about again? Clutch levers or something?

First of all Raydog I want to thank you for your service to our country. I apolgise to you and anyone else offended by the "pseudo patriot" remark. I have had my patriotism questioned by Harly riders before because I ride a Japanese bike. Many of them claimed to be patriots because of their military service and because of the bike they ride. Some never bothered to tell you they were in the military for one reason and one reason only. To avoid a felony conviction. Again my remarks were uncalled for and I apologise to anyone offended by them.

Real men apologize...right on 2wheeler, it never happened! Raydog

So if I go with the single rotor thread... add it to this thread... do I get off for half price with twice the braking action??

BTW If anyone does buy up a pair of those Chinese "No Name" rotors,
let us know what you think.

Thanks all

Actually my rotors are imported..."Braking" rotors are made in Italy...I don't care if they are $10 or $1000 a pair...what I do care about is Italian steel (read Western European), Italian engineers, Italian craftsmen, Italian businessmen, the latter who have distinguished themselves in the global mercantile world as PEOPLE WHO CARE about what they produce(over the past 100 years, BTW). I bet the employees of "Braking" ride their personal motorcycles home at night that have "Braking" rotors on them. I doubt if that happens in Bejing.       Raydog
so where would one find these rotors?  The name is a total disaster for a search engine to find...  "Braking Rotors" only generates about 4M hits

A link would be most helpful... I see Brembo is Italian as well... go figure

I sell the Braking brand waverotors. Hit me up if you want some. I use them myself.
Well throw out some figures spidey???

A bit more than that. $160.00 + shipping for the fronts. These aren't the junk that was yana shiki. There is a track racer Aussi that says they work great! They are 5mm thick .

Well, after much research, and searching online in general,
I managed to stumble on a pair of Braking Brand Rotors thanks to a heads up post here on the  .Org.

The Braking "StremX" floating wave rotors list for $369.00 each, here is Canada.
I picked these up for just a bit less than half price, with less than 4 months use in them.

Fingers crossed.

Thanks for everyone's input on this.
I hope people use the search button, cause there is a lot of good info in this thread.

I emailed a bunch of people who bought these and they have good things to say. Track days, 3,000 miles .No problems to report.
