At this rate I'm going to end up in the car I said I would never get in, that little tiny mini, it either that or go back to the one car one bike family. This really sucks and if some of you right with your thoughts us in the USA are going to get hit hard.

I find it funny that the American car manufactures had employee prices, and sold there big vehicles, and then gas prices go up. Do I smell conspiracy?

wide spread panic struck GA today. I got gas yesturday (Tuesday 30) at $2.45/gal today (31) it jump up as high a $6.99/gal. Must of the stations I passed going home tonight were around $2.99-$3.25 for 87 oct. But guys I work with went out at lunch to top of their tanks and paid $3.75/gal. Every other station is out of gas and the one across the street that still has gas has a line out in to the road and this was at midnight. My tank is almost full and tomorrow is my last day at work for over a week. My timing for a vacation couldn't have happened at a better time.
They can release oil from the SPR's all they want, we are out of refining capacity so it won't make a difference. I say we pull out of Iraq and bomb all the OPEC nations!

On the way home last night, only two stations out of at least 25 had any gas left. The Asheville area is not expecting any until mid to end of next week.
I have never seen anything like the price gouging that went on yesterday. Gas went from $2.57 to in some spots over $4. Talk about record profits for the local stores.
