As soon as I stop laughing ill explain to you it is all but impossible to catch a contact high, test positive for it or pass out by being near it. Unless they closed you in a box and burnt a pound inside it I'm not buying it. Folks have claimed contact high or positive test by exposure forever and it is constantly proven to them that that just doesn't happen. Sorry

Maybe you should buy better grass then? Somebody very close to me has burned since I can remember. 2 guys in the car I was riding in passed one back and forth with the windows up on our way to play cards and yes, I did get stoned from it.

Yep, if you're in a car with the windows up and it's smoked out...you're gonna catch something:laugh:.
Weed aparently isn't for you.
Of course not everyone likes it. Not everyone likes alcohol either.
Pain pills have zero effect on me, nothing. I'm allergic to morphine. Imagine how fun that it.
Weed happens to be wonderful, although it remains a fond memory for me for now.
GOD forbid I ever have a disease were I feel the need for it, but if so, I'll have it, legal or not.:beerchug:

Medical in a private residence only, it stinks and I don't want to be forced to inhale someone else's choice.

It's not like people would run the streets and fill the bars up smoking tons of weed in peoples faces. I wouldn't think you would be forced to inhale it

Im for medical.. people who have Cancer getting there treatments wont eat cuz there not hungry. Give the some and they will eat..

Honestly, yes, legalize it for everyone that DOESN'T work in the military, post office, or other gov't agencies (they have enough problems, no need to add munchies to it). People already do it legal or not. Legalize it like CO did. Why not? Look at all the DAMN GOOD medical reasons to have it. I'm for it, but I still won't do it. I work on aircraft that carry people everywhere and blow shizz up. I don't want them hurt or my ACFT to go down.

I would venture to say there is more death and misery attributed to alcohol in one day then there is in an entire year from marijuana.... just sayn.

Prohibition just doesn't work.

Like Blanca said no one has ever died from smoking pot but I just read of a 15 year old in Brazil that died of dehydration due to excessive masturbation. Maybe we should prohibit that?

Its legal here  But I work at a Federal job so I can't smoke it . 5 years to retiremnt !!:beerchug:

I voted yes. but there are a lot of problems that would come with it. As with alcohol we get the problems like drunk drivers, lets not forget the amount of commercial pilots who like to drink an fly:banghead: You could test them for being impaired by alcohol easy enough. But with Mary Jane it is not so cut an dry seeing as how it can stay in the person's system for 30 days after just 1 use. Not sure if the amount could or can be measured.

Pretty sure no one here would want there surgeon operating on them while he is stoned out of his mind, or a pilot flying them over in a jet. Guy runs a red light T-bones and kills someone while he is stoned be pretty hard to prove he is impaired. Any here that thinks being stoned doesn't impair you is doing it wrong. Motor skills and reactions do slow down.. jmo

The correct answer is yes but just like so many other things in this country we pretend to put ourselves on a pedestal and judge others and spend so much time and energy on insignificant issues :banghead: Pot is everywhere! literally everywhere :hide: you can go to the ghetto the trailer park the suburbs and even to an amish community and your gonna find marijuana. Everybody has at least tried it or know somebody that has or is still doing it. Not everybody that smoked a joint turns into a raging crackhead and a total loser. More people have died from drinking whether it be vehicle crash, drowning, falling, or alcohol poisining than people have choked on taking a hit of that stuff for the 1st time. Why not legalize it and make a profit from it and use it for some good like getting rid of this Ginormous National Debt? You dont have to be street savy or connected to get a hold of the stuff now. In California and Colorado its legal and you can get a prescription for "medicinal" purposes for damn near anything.......... I stubbed my toe, oh heres a scrip, Im worried about paying my bills, oh you suffer from anxiety heres a scrip. Its no longer relegated to cancer or chemo patients so whats the point in fighting the inevitable? When you think about it they already test for it when you submit to a blood test for a DUI, Employers still test for it so you still might not be able to even if it was, and you cant even find a safe and legal place to smoke a cigarrette in a public area so you dont have to worry about people all of a sudden blazing up all over the place

So what happens next?

We legalize pot.
Because it is now legal, we make it illegal for employers to drug test, as that would be discrimination.
Then we legalize Cocaine.
Then meth follows.
Then everything is OK.
We no longer drug test for sports performance enhancement substances, athletes are free to do as they wish.
The next president becomes a pot user.
15 years from today, will be still be the most powerful nation, even though we are the youngest?
