I say Hills or MidnightSD just pick somewhere and that is where we end up. I am a little tired of all the voting for now.

I just think we need to move on a location so we can make sure we all end up staying at the same spot and our bikes are safe.

Agree... But, we ALL need to be on the same page. I haven't been able to devote the time I should to this thread and have been feeling bad about it. Some behind the scenes stuff with my job has kept me away from the board. Some of you may already know I'm no long Ks-waterbug.  

Yep, job forced a move Temp (6 months..) to S. Carolina and thats where I'm currently typing you from... So, while I get settled in might need some folks to step up and help put this together any volunteers? Todd, your getting married so its out of the question.. Next volunteer? Of course need everyone to agree, I'll be popping in from time to time to check on things and help keep the thread fresh and pinned... As the topics get settled the person selected to help organize can PM me so I can get things done on my wierd schedule... Hope everyone understands, HOPING I can get this time off to make the event! Yes, even that is in the air... Ks

Dang Bug hope you can make it and all that be a bummer if ya don't

heck the way it sits i'm wondering how many people are looking at comeing i mean we are only really getting input from 5 people that aren't in the state after all Oh well.

ANd hey just cause i'm getting married dosen't mean i can't pitch in lol granted hills being in the imediate area and knowing it a bit better then me would probly be a bit better to rally the accomidtaions.



I still like a one location for camping and stuff with cabins that have hotel ammedities. Just cause i know we ran into this out in Colorado peeps from the lodge going to the campsite granted it rained so that kinda ruined the fun but then it was the drive back that kinda sucked. If we was all in one Local then it's a simple walk back to out, Tent, RV, or Cabin.

I feel it will make us all have a bit more fun and a bit more organized when we wana do group rides and things like that.

I would definitely like to keep everyone at the same location, but I don't know of any campgrounds that have personal bathrooms in the cabins. About the closest we are going to get to that is the Fish & Fry that I put the link up for in my first post. They have a large building that is set up with 3 or 4 separate rooms on the second floor. The showers are on the first floor. With enough interest we could get the whole building.

Is the Golden Hills Resort still open with the 20 rooms? That may be the best shot to keep everyone together.

The campgrounds mentioned so far (Beavercreek, Fish Fry) may not have enough space for the people like me who need walls and plumbing? Dont get me wrong I dont mind to ruffing it, but not with the wifey and kiddos. They will need amenities will I am off having fun on the bike.

The Golden Hills does have rooms for that weekend. The Fish & fry is about 7 miles from the Golden Hills. Not a very long ride to visit the campground.

Let me do some looking here again i ran across a place that had nice cabins with indoor plumbing and even A/C i just have to find it again ok.

Going in for a root Canal at 6:45 am so be paitent if i can't get it up right away

I did find a campground near Lead/Deadwood that has furnished cabins w/private baths...

This is going to be up to those who would like a hotel room to decide if a fully furnished cabin is going to work. Let us know what you think!

They have a Lodge/Hotel , Along with Cabins and Camp sites.

There again not sure what peeps budgets are and stuff but this offers all three from what i have seen and there could be others give me a bit more time and i'm sure i can dig a bit more

Looks like theres a good chance I will be making it down for the meet n greet, if everything goes well with the holiday schedule at work.
I was looking through the posts regarding where to have the greet and noticed Hillsrider had a link to Wild Bills Campground. It looks like a great place to stay for everybody.
Looking forward to meeting everybody. I remembered meeting MidnightBusainSD at the MNG at Copper Mountain in Colorado.

well HillsRider, the only road with a curve like that is going around our largest mountain in south florida...Mount Trashmore. LOL! otherwise know as garbage mountain! Where is that road anyway?
