^^^ thats what I'd like to know..

and is there a date range?? or is it ALL of them? The tire I just took off was the same thing..no issues.

mjn, its just the two series listed in the first page. I was alerted to this earlier today, called the Mich. Rep and was told they were pending a release of info, but for now, go to the dealer and they would take care of me after opening a case. Dealer had no clue. While there, I called and talked with Greg, HeavyBusa, and he mentioned the two numbers w/ made in Yellow, I mean France. I got home, checked and my front is made in Frane with the 980T numbering...so, since I just put a new rear on today, guess I will zip thru this one, and one more rear, then swap over to try Qualifiers. Yeah, new front tire. I have almost 5,000 miles on this one, including a track day, and it easily has another rear tire left in it, but since its free, I'll take that new one.

I haven't been home yet...I hope mine are "Spain" tires too.....I just put 'em on..

Well, I have just 1500 miles on the new set of ct's and just checked and yupit's a Francie. Oh and also just noticed my front fork seals are leaking again. Just changed those last summer aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggg!

Just got off the phone with a Michelin rep and he instructed me to take the tires to ANY local bike shop and they will replace them free of charge. Not sure if that will work.....we shall see.

so you have to take off your wheel, dismount the tire, exchange it, mount and balance?

I`d really know what exactly wrong with it, so I might keep it until it`s bold.

and then let them replace it.

Last update....just talked to my local dealer, the are going to confirm recall with Michelin and Parts Unlimited and start accepting tires on Monday/Tuesday........
