Yeah I know its a hotrod bike, but it can be ridden for great gas mileage. I'm still breaking mine in and have seen a low of 47.4 and a high of 54.9. I know its gonna go down after I finish the break in period. Anyone gotten higher mpg?

i think i got a lemon. the most i have ever seen was 30.1 mpg! i have tried every riding -throttle position, speed , etc. even if im doin like 2500 rpms at 50 it still wont read any higher. anyone else get this? the most ive got out of a tank was 120 miles or so. does that mean mine is a beast with the most horse stock or i just got shafted.(lol)

i've gone by the break in procedure an at 400 miles up to 6000rpm have only seen 42mpg

i also broke mine in really easy. under 6000 for 500 then i started gettin her.still get screwed on milage. is anyone else getting this low milage?

HAVE YOSH SLIP ONS BMC FILTER 42T REAR SPROCKET GOT 49.5 MPG GOING UP TO LOCONIA NH WEEK END HAVE 5,OOO MILES ON BUSA

When I'm squidin' - 11.2k/liter

When I'm tourin' - 18.2k/liter

You figure out the conversion.. all I know is it's awesome!

Let's see, 246k's(154miles) to a tank when squidin' and 400k's(250miles) when I'm tourin'.

2000 Blue, Yosh race RS3 slip ons. Richened up idle circuit and M & H.

I'm getting around 43 mpg during break-in. I get around 125-150 miles per 1/2 tank of gas so I'm guessing the effective range of the tank is around 250-300 or so? Can anyone verify the range of the tank?

I've seen as low as 32 highest 50.0. It's like clockwork 5th gear 65-75 guaranteed 50.0, I thought it was broke until I came back into town. Oh yeah, running a full Muzzy, stock filter, no remapping YET..
It needs fuel, I'm sure mileage will go down the tubes after I get a PC2, everyone that has seems to anyway...

I get about 41 to 43 MPG pretty consistantly. My fuel light comes on after about 4.4 gallons spent so I figure I should be good for about 220 miles.

Im lucky as hell to get 120 miles to a tankfull, usually more like a hundred.
I'm always stopping the festivities to fill up.

I check my mileage every fill up, have 12,000 miles now.

DO NOT TRUST YOUR FUEL MILEAGE INDICATOR!

I FILLED UP. TOOK A TRIP. As I went along, I checked fule mileage, it said 44.7 mpg, figured I could go 260 miles.

WENT 242.2 MILES AND FILLED UP WITH 6.01 GALLONS INTO A 5.8 GALLON TANK!

Go figure.

My average is 38-44 mpg depending on riding style.

Completely stock with Akrapovic exhaust, pc-2, Prototype k & N filter.

TRUST YOUR CALCULATOR, NOT SUZUKI'S FUEL MILEAGE INDICATOR!!!

Unless you have yellow box, or some other speedo correcting device, all your mpg's mean nothing. My bike is 12% off on speedo,so if it works out ratio of fuel used to distance travelled........you figure it.
(with yellow box mpg will decrease :( )

Nuts and waiting for yellow box!

Doing a gentle run at a steady 80-100mph up the motorway..... about 9-10 k/Ltr. Humping around town or looning it up, 5-7 m/Ltr.

Stupid bastard EU. what was wrong with gallons. My speedo's in miles my tacho's in liters per something, I guess its K's.

Pig-awful I know.... and I don't give a damn 'cos my baby, she moves me... damn fast!
