Does anyone have trouble seeing vehicles that are directly behind them? I am always getting surprised by cars unless I am on a curve. I do not see them until they are just forward of my blind spot. Any suggestions? Are there aftermarket mirrors that project farther out from the bike??

Hello and welcome... Some members here have put 1 inch spacers between the mirrors and fairing . Seems to work very well .. One of the guys here makes them .. Juggler I think.. Otherwise keep your elbows in...

1. GSXR mirrors.
2. Spacers. Cost as much as mirrors.
3. Rearview camera and blockoff plates. My favorite.
4. Funky helmet with rear view mirrors inside.

Thanks for the suggestions. I just got my beast last Saturday. Took a trip to Atlanta, GA on Thanksgiving and got lots of stares at the gas pump. Felt great to finally be on my dream bike. Still takin' er easy though, gotta break Suzi in right!

I was going to put spacers on mine, still may. But you can see what's behind you, you just need to work at it a little. Tuck in your elbows and lean you body a little. I still have the Busa mirror problem with everything getting small and disappearing unless I'm sitting at a traffic light.

Juggler used to make the spacers, but not sure if he is still doing it. Pro-Machining sells something pretty similar on eBay. Check 'em out. Do a search for Delrin spacers there. Welcome to the board and get those pics up!

Hey Kurt, you are right man! The addiction really does get worse. I can't sleep. I hear Suzi calling out to me from the garage! Just got the mighty Busa Saturday 11/19/05 and the first oil change is coming up probably today cause the weather is pretty good down here in Columbus, GA. Thanks to all for all the adivce. Having trouble posting my pics, keep getting "email not in system" and "file requested to upload was too big" prompt. Will keep trying. I have an 05 RED & Black, all stock "for now"! So, at least everyone knows what my ride looks like.

All hail BUSA!

Check the size of your photos. Probably need to reduce them using something like Microsoft Paint.

Oh yea, baby! Finally got it to work. So here is another pic of the Beast! I'm out. Gotta go zooooooooommmmmm!

Does anyone know how to get that crazy WARNING sticker off of the tank? It keeps fracturing into extremely small pieces driving me insane and the adhesive must be some space age polymer. The stuff is like cement.. HELP:(
