The spacers would be the ideal solution, but I went for a cheaper solution when I first got my Busa.  I went to Target and got some of the stick-on convex mirrors.  They were the small rectangular ones instead of the round ones.  Once you get used to the image, they work great.

Hey thanks for the advice stkr00. You better be careful with that sugar and caffeine combo!! Could end up with a myocardial infarct, BRO.
 
Does anyone have trouble seeing vehicles that are directly behind them? I am always getting surprised by cars unless I am on a curve. I do not see them until they are just forward of my blind spot. Any suggestions? Are there aftermarket mirrors that project farther out from the bike??

driving faster than traffic helps, we only need to take care of what's in front of you unless someone faster comes from behind. But on the busa, it shouldn't be a problem
