Throttlemeisters are bar ends that replace your stock bar ends. The one on the throttleside can be tighten to hold your throttle open allowing a sort of cruise control. Plus the heavy set weighs more than the stock and for me removes all vibrations. I use them and really like them, plus they are real quality pieces and look

Somebody please explain the reason for the grab bar/ hump mod. Is it for a quick change to the 2-up, or do you just like the look of the bar?

Thanks!

Personally I don't care for putting the grab bar and the cowl on at the same time. It just looks out of place (because it is). I have heard a lot of different reasons for the modification. The most common I hear is that it makes the bike easier to place on a rear stand. The other reason is out of shear laziness, it makes switching between cowl and seat a little easier.

I never put the grab bar on. I'm not sure I know where my grab bar is any more.

As for the ease of placing the bike on a rear stand. I always have the cowl off when I'm working on something. I just grab the latch bracket and steady the bike that way.

OK, I'm obnviously giving you guys a hard time that have cut your cowls. It's simply my preferance. Nothing more.
Now, how many people did I

I did... my rear stand doesn't have a handle, so it makes it easier to hold Bessie upright and use my foot to push the stand down...
Besides, personally, I like the look!

+1 against the grab bar/hump combo. It takes only a few seconds to remove/install the bar.

I will only use my back seat if somebody is riding on it, and I was constantly changing back, and forth. Every time my wife would ride with me.(2 to 3 times a day sometimes) But that was just a added bonus for me, I did it because I liked the way it looked !!!!!!

But that's just me
