Rossi's going nowhere as long as he continues his recent form (Jerez notwithstanding), so that would mean brooming Maverick? Jarvis is about as cutthroat bastard as they come, so no telling...

Reckon Mav would have a hell of a time adjusting to a 'V' configured bike , just like Lorenzo,Zarco and Syahrin.

Just read that Fabio's lap record from the test was done on the lowly old Aluminum Ohlins fork too. None of that carbon fiber stuff for him.

At this stage MM & MV look very comfortable and are able to smash out FAST times on worn rubber, MM did his usual FP1 on 1 set of tyres. Surprise of the day goes to Pol and George both showing good speed.

Any ideas why Honda and now Yamaha are snapping chains? Are they making them lighter and less drag and gone too far or is it swingarm flex? If it were Ducati I would think the engine was snapping them!

Honda lost theres due to flex dunno whats going with Yamaha.

Great move by Rossi in Q1 to go out and put some heat into the slicks and post that time - everyone else was on wets to start then some came in later but to change but too late.

Interesting what Fabio said about flicking to a 'time attack' mapping change part way thru the race cause i wondered how he gapped Rins the way he did, he rolled the dice on tyre life and it worked out ok.
