Anyone ever tried using Mobile 1 in their bike?  My dealership told me that Mobile 1 was good to put in my 06 Busa, but I am concerned about not using an oil specifically made for motorcycles.  Any input?

keep going on this guys, I want to do an oil change.. 10W40 amsoil is sooo expensive.

What else can i throw in there for synthetic?

bike has 11,000miles on it. I just acquired it.

I changed my oil last night (Mobile 1 Goldcap, 15-50, $8 per Qt). Now I have a friggin leak somewhere on the left side of the bike. Couldn't work it last night, so I'll have to tear into it tonight. Near as I can tell with the fairing on, it seems to be coming from somewhere near where the oil cooler line goes into the head. Its not a bad leak (very small)... just enough to piss me off.

I found Oil by Petro Canada 15W40 synthetic..

what do you guys think?? i gotta do something today.

I found Mobil 1 15W50 Synthetic at Walmart, $37 cdn for 4.4Litres.

So away we go!!! Any troubles removing the oil filter from an 01?? I don't care about spillage on the exaust, i have a pressure washer.

i used mobil 1.  it very good for my busa.

I've used Mobil 1 10w40 for a long time in my 03, no problems, no leaks. Friends use it too in alot of other bikes too. Expensive when not on sale at cdn tire.

For the record, I have not noticed an improvement in shifting from 5 to 6th gear after using mobil 1 for 20000km. The 03 tranny's must be bad cause mine's never shifted smoothly 5th to 6th.

5th oil change with Respol full syn. shifting and clutch best i've ever noticed on the busa. Pricey but I'm sold.

Ps - Shaft, just got back from the Cabot Trail this weekend, Is that road ROUGH or what. We stayed in Sydney. Nice place though. The locals said to complain to MacDonald about road repairs. Your take??
