very easy install... the stripes come in 4 peices per side (already pre-curved), and they just stick on the outside of the rim and overlap about 1/8" so there is no space. And no, you don't have to remove your wheels. The wheel stripes install? Does it require removal of the wheel or is it cut in one spot allowing you to overlap it so there is no gap?
Heck...You don't think he actually RIDES that thing do ya?sweet
how do u keep your rear sprocket so clean?
Yo bro... I learned a trick from the guys on the oRg - they were saying that you can use WD40 to clean the chain and sprocket - so that's what I tried. I think the results speak for themselves!!sweet
how do u keep your rear sprocket so clean?
Basically that's what I'm doing... trying to make up my mind... I'm going to order one more set and see how it looks... I do like the outline, but I think I'm going to try chrome and see how that does... I don't know. Maybe I'm just too "over-obsessive" - is that a word?So which SUZUKI decal did you stick with on the swingarm? I see block on the right and stencil on the left... My vote is for the stencil
I wouldn't think that they are reusable. Once they get "stuck" they hold on pretty tight. I'll definitely try to reuse them if need be, but I know the owner of the Suzuki shop very well here in Russellville, and all the guys that work there are really good friends of mine - so HOPEFULLY - I won't have any trouble. (On the upside, the stripes only cost me like $15 for the whole bike - not too bad even if you have to replace them every 4 or 5k miles)WOW!! Man that looks great!! Sounds awesome too!
Question: we all replace tires as often as some people change socks, so my question is, are the stripes reusable because you know they'll more than likely get scratched or otherwise destroyed when you have a tire changed!?
