My baby is dead

Sorry to hear about your loss. I have a long time firend that I work with. He rides a fatboy. and for months hen has been driving me nuts about ridding my busa. I kept putting him off until I just had to tell him that he would kill himself within the first minute and his wife would not pay for the bike after his death. So no way no how! Main reason he kept telling me "how much more power his fatboy puts out" That told me it would be a quick death!

Sorry for your loss! My brother in law always bugs me to ride my bike... I say fug no everytime... Everyone in my family always laughs when the topic pops up...

sorry to hear about your bike...it can be replaced....since nobody else has asked...how is your friend? Hope he/she is still ok!

Sorry for your loss,
In regards to people riding my bike,I always reply
Do you have a license to ride a motorcycle ?
Usually that gets about half of them out.
And for the rest that say yes they do, I go no a license to " Thrill "
And that takes care of the rest.

if you have insurance on the bike, do not keep it. if you want buy it back from the insurance company and part her out on ebay.
good luck. i lost my car because i let my friend use it. so i know how you feel.:(

That's a brutal blow. Has you "friend" offered to make it right? Regardless, try to have a Merry Xmas anyway.

Dayuuum. Thats the Bikers Golden Rule. "Don't ask to ride mine....cause I don't wanna ride yours"

what broke that theres 16k in damage? that seems a little extensive for just laying it down

Bad luck friend. If the guy had injured himself he might be trying to sue YOU for letting him ride a too dangerous bike! Why do these things always happen at times like Christmas? Sigh...

Too far gone to piece back together yourself? It can often be done for a fraction of the shop estimate.

I'm just the opposite, i'm not that strict with my Busa. If a friend of mine want's to try my bike out and i deem them ok, then i'm fine with it. Of course, i explain my Busa's traits and what to expect from it and what i expect in the event of an accident.
There's only a few people that have ridden my bike.
BUT, once i do the paint and the Bus starts getting alittle more customized, then i'll be alot more strict.
