i like the bike, but isn't there a law against desecrating us currency? he painted the pic of a socialist on the side, that's what ruined it for me. other than that, i like it. well, the 18 over swingarm is a bit much for me, but it's still a pretty rad bike.

does the bike have speakers for the ipod touch? For a show bike this is sick as hell but for the obama part. I'd like to see what else your painter can do because the workmanship in the paint is amazing. Not my cup of tea either but

I thank him and all of our service members for their service to this great country.
All in all, it is a very nice SHOW bike. The work put into it is very nice. I like to look at SHOW bikes and cars, but have never been able to justify building one myself. If I spend that kind of money on something it had better be useable for something other than JUST filling the trophy case.
So politics aside, I like the energy put in to build this bike. I can not and will not air my opinions of the motif

I dont know about anyone else around here but when I judge a bikes looks it has nothing and I repeat NOTHING to do with what I think or how I view the owner.... that being said... Ugly Ugly Ugly Ugly... sure I respect the amount of money and time and work went into the bike but as you pointed out its a trailer queen and that makes me sad as well... nothing like reduecing something to 1/10 its potential (20mph)...

But heres a question for you... seeing this is your friends bike does he know your on here posting all this ? You kinda seem like you cant take some people opinions when you asked for them? After reading my review are you go on to tell us more about his personal life? Maybe how his Great Uncle is currently dealing with cancer (hopefully not just using as an example of too much info)? Sorry to be mean but you asked us our opinions of the bike... realize some people just dont like bling bling..

that's pretty cool... any issues with heat affecting the speakers or the magnets on them affecting engine operation? having speakers could be really fun.

I would say you're getting full of yourself, but since it's your friends bike, well...

There are plenty of people on the .oRg who could have (afford) a bike like that if they wanted one. I'd get a big fancy showpiece if that's what I was all about. I just happen to like my bike with its capitalist theme and true sport bike functionality.

You really think everybody that doesn't like it can't afford it? I'm 24 and could afford but the most I'd give for it would be about ten nickels. Its worthless and horrid. Why would you even want something like that. Just so you can go around saying "I got a 60k bike that's as worthless as if it were made by mattel." Seems to me you got yourself worked into a mark lather by something you'll never be able to obtain.

Guy back home has an ipod with a couple speakers cut into his inner fairings. Its a gen one and just ran the wire through the steering nut. No problems yet. but imho go buy an electra glide if you need that shiz.

Sounds to me smonroe86 your living through your friends bike... kinda sad in a way but completely understandable... how old are you 16 17? I remember being this way when my boy first got his CBR 900rr and I was always on the defensive when people said it wasnt their cup of tea... I hear ya man loud and clear ! Just because you think its the most wonderful thing in the world everyone else should as well right? Boy o Boy things are going to get tough for you where you realize everyone is entitled to their OWN opinion !

here's a hint, we're not all in the army and can have our own $.02.

i bought my bike, cuz it's actually got a shorter wheelbase then factory and has been jacked up in the back, i doubt you'd know the reason why. and i ride it vs look at it.........crazy concept.

and a few of us make more then soldiers. doesn't mean we don't respect what they do. but get over your friends bike, and get your own.
