Yeah, I don't think it will be long before they are to the edge. The bike leans so easily and so far over... effortlessly now. It's just a matter of hitting one of my favorite roads without traffic on it.They'll get scrubber in real well when the weather warms up. If not, then Deals will do it for ya!
I know BT. Just giving you a hard time. I'd give you a hard time even if you shoveled Sh*t for a living. But mainly because you never put any miles on your Busa and now you are riding you azz off on the Kawi. I've always liked the 10 and if I could afford more than one bike I'd get one of them as well as another Busa. Guess it's just envy. It's coming from a HUMAN BEING that just happens to do law enforcement for a living...This all seems a bit odd coming from a Cop!
Ahhh, I see... Kawi Envy can be tough, I'm sure.I know BT. Just giving you a hard time. I'd give you a hard time even if you shoveled Sh*t for a living. I do the EXACT same thing whenever I put a new set of tires on. It does help. Really it does. Usually what I'll do is spray the tire with this degreaser called Mean Green (very cheap, but very effective at only $2 for an extra large bottle..) and watch the coating just roll off. Next, I'll dry the tire up pretty good then get to sanding away.A little trick I do on my new tires is to take coarse sand paper to them before I mount them. It roughs them up a little and takes that glaze off. I've never know anyone else that does that but it just makes me feel better.
What would you know about it? Bet you've still got stockers on...Belt sanders do wonders...
That's what I'm saying!!What would you know about it? Bet you've still got stockers on...Belt sanders do wonders...
Why would you guys cheat yourself out of the tire scrubbing ritual like that? Cheaters I tell ya!I do the EXACT same thing whenever I put a new set of tires on. It does help. Really it does. Hey Michelle, you gonna just make tires part of the 10,000 mile service hun? I think it's broken in now. Prolly ok to twist it above 4k RPM at this point. That's what I'm saying!!What would you know about it? Bet you've still got stockers on...Belt sanders do wonders...
See, BT and I have this ongoing "thing"...I poked fun at him for not riding because he was washing the Busa too much, he insists that since I still have the stock tire, I'm not really riding it at all...
Belt sander...I'm the ultimate poser...

It's a little over an hour away...Vabusa...I am from Chesapeake, VA. Are you near there?
Let me know if you ever do!VaBusa, I lived in Chesapeake for 30 years. I have some family that live in Rappahannock. Currently, I am live in MD but all my people are in Chesapeake so I go there quite a bit. I plan to take a ride from MD to Chesapeake this spring. I will probably go 301S to 17E and catch up with 64E in Yorktown.
