My damn bike was stolen.

michelle thanx for cleaning up this site and getting rid of the scum...u make a good point...scum like bless with his honest opinions shouldnt be allowed or egged on...what a jerk...
 
I missed some posts, but the "sorry dog" part might also be short for hiphop slang and someone might have misunderstood. If you read that post from that perspective, he was saying, "sorry, friend". Will shut up now. :beerchug:

You're right , I think there was no harm intended there.
 
Ahh you know how it is. Folks and their superiority complexes. I wasn't going to dignify him with a response until he decided to really get cranked up, guess he wasn't getting enough attention.
 
A lot of bikes getting stolen lately. Sooner or later someone is going to get caught/shot/killed in the act....
 
Exactly why I'm almost happy I didn't catch them in the act. That probably would have ended very badly.
 
Sorry about your loss orpheus. I had an SV stolen a few years ago... two days after putting a $400 exhaust and $250 seat on it. Insurance company took money off because it wasn't stock. Never heard from the police about recovering it.

Bright side was that I bought a faster bike, not too sure you could move to something much faster than a busa. Hope your baby returns to you in the shape before being thieved.

I feel sorry for some one trying to steel mine,wifes, or a customers bike from my drive way. Got 4 dogs who bark at anything that comes near the house. And the Glock 21 .45 is less than 3 feet away from me and is cocked and ready to got with 1 in the chamber and 13 in the magazine (230grain jacketed hollow points) but i will let Maverick out first 55#'s of solid muscle American Pitbull Terrier:evil2:

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, here's the full update.

I bought that bike during a divorce, and as such I never managed to get ahead of the promotional payment. As such I was still upside down in her, ironic how the only financial mistake left came back to bite me. No lectures, this was a mistake I owned fully, and was fixing.

Anyhow, insurance took plenty good care of me, but with the negative equity I was stuck. After a month of trying every reasonable resource I kinda threw my hands up. I decided to wait awhile and see what the future brought.

The future got here and quick.

On Oct 16 I heard about HD killing Buell and I hatched a plan. Long and short I got a leftover 2008 Buell 1125R, the negative rolled onto it, taxes prep etc. OTD for $1.5K under sticker. A regular payment I'll have gone in four years or so. It's not a Busa, but it's not bad.

I'll be back on a Busa, hopefully soon. Meanwhile I've got some parts to sell, so look for a thread soon as I can get pics uploaded. Front and rear wheels, stock windshield, Suzuki gel seat, maybe a PitBull rear stand cause it won't work with the Buell. Feel free to PM me if you guys want any of that.

Even though it's not a Busa, here's what's in the stable for now.

I'll stick around if that's OK. Been a nice place and would hate to leave because of thieves.
